IFB # 20-001 – PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS ON VARIOUS CITY ROADS

CITY OF FAIRBURN INVITATION FOR BID IFB # 20-001 – PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS ON VARIOUS CITY ROADS February 5, 2020 The City of Fairburn will accept sealed bids from qualified Contractors for furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS ON VARIOUS CITY ROADS CONTRACT #20-001. The work includes the installation of new ADA handicap ramps, replacing existing handicap ramps, installation of new sidewalk and replace existing sidewalk as required, installation of new curb & gutter and replace existing curb & gutter & header curb as required. This contract will also include preparation of sub-grade, demolition of existing ADA handicap ramps, curb & gutter and header curb as required, saw-cutting existing asphalt, and demolition of same as well as clean up and backfilling. All work must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed with Construction (NTP). Bids will be received at the City of Fairburn at City Hall, 56 Malone Street, Fairburn, Georgia 30213 (phone: 770-964-2244) until 3:00 PM, Friday, February 28 th, 2020, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. No bid may be modified, withdrawn, or canceled for a period of 60 days after time designated for receipt of Bids or until notified by Owner, whichever is sooner. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities, technicalities, and informalities. Bidding documents may be viewed or purchased at the office of the City Engineer, 26 West Campbellton Street, Suite 110, Fairburn, Georgia 30213.
