Base Support Emergency Response Vehicle (BSERV) repair services

The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron at Hurlburt Field intends to solicit, evaluate, and award on a sole source basis a contract to Emerald Coast Trailer, Inc for Base Support Emergency Response Vehicle (BSERV) repair services in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i).Market research results confirmed that no other company in the local area possessed the capability to provide the unique technical elements required for the BSERV maintenance and repair services to the telescoping mast, camera, and cabin-support electrical. The additional resources required to transport the BSERV outside of the local area for repairs would have severe impacts on the unit's mission capabilities and the additional cost would not be recovered throughout the life cycle of this requirement.The NAICS Code is 811119 and the small business size standard is $8M. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be

considered by the agency. Proposals must be received no later than Wednesday, 2 September 2020 at 2:00 PM (Local – Hurlburt Field Time). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government.
