The City of Kingsland is accepting a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from Pre-Qualified Georgia Registered Engineering Firms and Individuals for preliminary engineering services to design the installation of sidewalks, shared facilities, multi-use paths, traffic signal upgrades and landscaping improvements to increase the safety and promote non-motorized use of the facilities along the corridor of Boone Street in the vicinity of Exit 3 off of Interstate 95 in Kingsland, Georgia. This is a Request for Qualifications from pre-qualified firms capable of designing the Corridor improvements as described within this RFQ. This project includes all engineering and environmental work necessary to let the project to construction through the Georgia Department of Transportation’s Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP). The qualified consultant selected for the preliminary engineering phase may be considered for subsequent phases. There will be a mandatory pre-qualification meeting Friday, December 13, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the City Hall Council Chambers located at 107 South Lee Street, Kingsland, Georgia 31548 for the purpose of discussion of the project and professional services required followed by a site visit.
