the protection and commercialization of university intellectual property, including but not limited to the receipt and recordation of invention disclosures, tracking patent application filings, prosecution and issuance in the United States and foreign countries, monitoring of maintenance fees and annuities due and paid, compliance with government reporting requirements, recording executed confidentiality, material transfer and license agreements, accounting of disbursements and receipts associated with all of the above activities and the ability to generate routine and ad-hoc reports on all the above. A system that also incorporates customer relationship management and marketing campaign tools is preferred.
