Track Changes The Indian Health Service, Billings Area, Fort Belknap Service Unit in Harlem, Montana intends to award a non-competitive, sole-source contract to Philips Electronics North America, Andover, Connecticut, 01810-1032, for the heart monitor service agreement for the Fort Belknap Service Unit in the Fort Belknap PHS Indian Hospital, Harlem, MT 59526. The contractor, Philips Electronics North America, is the only heart monitor service agreement vendor who can service the heart monitor equipment due to the proprietary nature of the diagnostic software. The purchase order shall comprise of a base year with three (3) option years period for the heart monitor service agreement services.
This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received by 5:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST) April 10, 2018, the contract will be issued without further notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.
