ON-CALL STORM WATER CONSULTING SERVICES The City of San Antonio (hereafter referred to as “City”), Public Works Department (hereafter referred to as “PWD”) is seeking Statement of Qualifications (hereafter referred to as a “SOQ”) from qualified engineering firms interested in providing on-call or as needed services for staff augmentation for the Floodplain Management team within the Storm Water Division of PWD. As part of these professional services, it will be necessary for the selected consultant/team to document all activities and contacts, to include but not limited to review the following documents: •Perform technical reviews of Storm Water Management Plans (SWMPs), flood studies to include hydrology and hydraulic modeling, plats, construction plans, cost estimates, etc associated with private land development projects to ensure adherence to the City’s Unified Development Code (UDC) and Floodplain Ordinance; •Perform technical reviews of FEMA Conditional Letters of Map Revisions (CLOMRs) and/or Letters of Map Revisions (LOMRs) associated with private land development projects or Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) on behalf of the City to ensure adherence to the City’s Floodplain Ordinance; •Perform technical reviews of Preliminary Engineering reports (PERs), flood studies, hydrology and hydraulic reports and analyses, hydrology and hydraulic models, construction plans and specifications associated with CIP projects to ensure adherence to the City’s UDC, Design Guidance Manual (DGM), and Floodplain Ordinance; •Provide review comments for QA/QC to Floodplain Management staff; and •Provide inventory of all projects reviewed as staff augmentation as requested by City staff for periodic updates and/or through invoices.
