McKinney Vento Homeless Assistance Act Education for Homeless Children and Youth

This RFA provides competitive subgrants to Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to facilitate the enrollment, attendance, and success in school of children and youth experiencing homelessness. This subgrant may be used to provide temporary, special, and supplementary services to meet the unique needs of homeless children and youths. All Delaware local education agencies (LEAs) are eligible to apply. Only Delaware LEAs are eligible to apply. A Delaware LEAs that desires to receive a subgrant shall submit an application to the Delaware Department of Education. A Delaware LEA that desires to receive a subgrant shall submit an application to the Delaware Department of Education (DDOE). The maximum award amount is $30,000.00 per LEA. LEAs may subcontract with other agencies; however, the local school system assumes responsibility for setting program goals and monitoring program accomplishments.
