Portable Wireless Camera Systems

The City of San José is seeking quotes for a Portable Wireless Camera System (multiple units) to include hardware, service, placement and training in support of the San José Police Department requirements.

 
The City shall issue a blanket purchase order to the successful bidder for an initial twelve-month period. After the initial period, the City reserves the right to exercise four (4) additional one-year period extensions for a total of five (5) years.


The quantities specified herein are the City's best estimate of the quantities that will be purchased; however, they are not guaranteed. Any variations from these estimated quantities shall not entitle the bidder to an adjustment in unit pricing or rates.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The Bidder (or principal) must meet the following minimum qualifications. Bids that fail to meet the minimum qualifications will be considered non-responsive and disqualified from further consideration.
1) Must

be an Authorized reseller for product being offered. Provide documentation with bid submittal to support.

POST AWARD SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS:  The successful contractor will be required to provide the following requirements and must be provided within five calendar days of notification of award or as stated otherwise:
1) Insurance (Attachment B)
2)Living wage/Prevailing Wage; if contractor is performing work on public work projects for the City, contractor must provide DIR registration number. (if contractor is installing camera systems)
2) A valid City of San José Business Tax Certificate

 

QUOTE SUBMISSION:  1) All quote responses must be submitted online through BidSync, including electronic attachments if applicable, and/or through the “Vendor Notes for Offer” function.The City will not accept hardcopy quotes.
2) All line items must be priced or clearly show “No Bid” or “Included” not left blank or zero.

 

BASIS OF AWARD is
Price-Determinative:  The award for this requirement will be based on lowest responsive and responsible quote that meets all specifications.  The City may award by line item, lot, or overall lowest cost after application of local business and small business preferences, if applicable. 

 

PRICING: Pricing shall be fixed for the initial term of the Purchase Order.
