In addition, new water services will be provided to 342 lots (315 contractor + 27 City installed) and service transfers will be performed at all those locations. Installation of 21 fire hydrants will also be a part of this project with 6 additional hydrants to be installed by City forces. The work will be performed in the vicinity of S. Orange, E. Church, S. Cedar and E. Jensen Avenues. The 8” and 6” water mains will replace 50± year old mains. A portion of work is within the County of Fresno.
