PURCHASE DESCRIPTIONRUBBER ADHESIVE AND PRIMERThis is a requirements type contract for the use of Red River Army Depot only. Quantities listed are estimated quantities only and are not guaranteed. No funds will be obligated by the award or the resultant contract, but will be obligated by the issuance of delivery orders.The required covercoat shall be NSN/Part No. 76005CHEMLOK 220 or equivalent and the adhesive primer shall NSN/Part No. 76005CHEMLOK 205 or equivalent. The contract will have three consecutive ordering years beginning date of award and ending three years from date of award. Each ordering year provides an estimated quantity as listed below. Adhesive primer and covercoat are used in daily operations for bonding of rubber to road wheels and track shoes on the BFVS, Abrams, M88, 113FOV, M60FOV, M109 and MLRS vehicles. RRAD has the only capability within the Department of Defense (DOD) for reclamation and remanufacture of combat vehicle Road wheel and track.All products must

accompany a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and approved by RRAD personnel prior to delivery of any products. Minimum acceptable shelf life remaining at time of delivery is 85%.Delivery is within 7 days after receipt of delivery order. Black liquid appearance, non-volatile content by weight is 22.0-24.0%, solvents Xylene, dries 30 to 60 minutes at room temperature, shelf life-one year.
