Award a Sole Source Contract to Spectrum EnterprisesFAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source (except brand name)The U.S. Military Academy, Mission & Installation Contracting Command (MICC), West Point, NY award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, to Cable TV Signal & Installation for Bldg 616. This will be a Base, Plus 4 Option Year Contract. The Justification and Approval is attached.This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information on proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract, and is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed contract is for the Minitab License Renewal The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), pursuant to the statutory
authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.The Mission Installation Contracting Command - West Point on behalf of the United States Military Academy (USMA) West Point (Directorate of Emergency Services) intends to award sole source, firm fixed price contract to (Spectrum Enterprises) for (Cable TV Signal & Installation for Bldg 616. This will be a Base, Plus 4 Option Year Contract.)The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is NAICS 515210 Broadcast Signal with the associated size standard of $38.5 Million Per Year.This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.
