The Naval Surface Warfare Center - Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) intends to procure on a sole-source basis three (3) 21.3" LCD displays along with cabling and brackets for replacement on UCC Workstations supporting the DDG 111 and 112 Machinery Control System (MCS) from General Digital.  As the original monitors needed for the DDG-51 class ships became obsolete, General Digital designed a monitor as a prototype from which several more are required for the DDG Ships.  The information to develop these monitors is proprietary and therefore cannot be provided by any other company.  A solicitation will not be made available with this synopsis.
