Notice of Intent to Sole Source for UH-72A Main Rotor Blade Sling

The Wisconsin National Guard intends to award a sole source contract to AIRBUS Helicopters, Inc., 2701 N. Forum Drive, Grand Prairie, TX 75052 for Main Rotor Blade Sling for UH-72A Lakota Light Utility Helicopter (LUH). Airbus Helicopters, Inc. is the only company that offers the Main Rotor Blade Sling for this specific model. This sole source requirement meets the conditions of FAR 13.501(a)(2), only one responsible source has been identified as reasonably available to provide the supplies that will satisfy the agency requirements. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids, quotes, or proposals. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 336411. The Small Business size standard is 1500 employees. This will be a firm fixed price contract. The Government does

not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
