This Request for Proposal (RFP) announces the intent of the County of Mendocino to solicit proposals for the procurement of routine consumable household goods. “Household Goods” as described in this RFP excludes office supplies, office furniture and/or equipment, computer equipment and supplies, paper stock, forms, electronics, food and beverage equipment, telephones, custom-order stamps, and audio/visual equipment. The purpose of the RFP is to purchase household goods to be delivered to various County Departments throughout the County of Mendocino. It is the intent of the County of Mendocino to award a non-exclusive Blanket Purchase Order to one bidder. The goal of the County of Mendocino is to provide its departments and purchasing employees with the opportunity to purchase products and services at best prices, quality, desktop delivery and availability possible. This process also takes into consideration the Vendor’s general reputation for performance and service. The County of
Mendocino is seeking the best value possible for its departments. For more information, see Request For Proposal. Vendors must submit five (5) copies of their proposal: four (4) complete paper copies with at least one (1) original Vendor signature, and one (1) complete copy on USB Flash Drive. The proposal must be formatted in accordance with the instructions of this RFP. Promotional materials may be attached but are not necessary and will not be considered as meeting any of the requirements of this RFP. Proposals must be enclosed in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked “Mendocino County RFP No 016-24. Household Goods”, and delivered by 2:00 p.m. May 10, 2024, to: Mendocino County General Services Agency, Central Services Division Attn: Purchasing 841 Low Gap Road Ukiah, CA 95482 L ate or facsimile proposals will not be accepted. It is the proposer’s responsibility to assure that its proposal is delivered and received at the location specified herein, on or before the date and hour set. Proposals received after the date and time specified will not be considered. Note: The unauthorized use of the County’s official logo is strictly prohibited.
