"Department/Agency\n\nDepartment of Public Safety - NC National Guard (NCNG) \u2014\nConstruction Facilities Management Office (CFMO)\n\nProject Title\n\nFull Building Commissioning Services\nfor Rocky Mount Regional Readiness Center\n\nDesign Services\n\nEngineering\n\nScope of Work\n\nThe NCNG has initiated planning for construction of a new Regional\nReadiness Center on 100 acres in Edgecombe County, NC (Rocky\nMount). The new 45,000 SF to 50,000 SF Regional Readiness\nCenter facility will provide operational space for approximately 200\nSoldiers, equipment storage areas, administrative space, parking for\nprivately owned vehicles, and military owned vehicles.\n\nThis Regional Readiness Center is part of NCNG'\u2019s initiative to\nconsolidate units into larger, regionally based hub facilities\nconsisting of multiple units. This project will follow both State\nConstruction Office and DoD Military Construction (MILCON)\nplanning requirements and processes.\n\nTo comply with federal
regulations, guidelines and best practices\nthe NCNG will procure 3\" party Commissioning services for design\nand construction of this facility.\n\nThe following systems will serve the building and require\ncommissioning in compliance with LEED v4.1 EA Fundamental and\nEnhanced Commissioning (LEED Silver requirement).\n\ne Mechanical (HVAC Equipment and Controls)\n\ne Plumbing, (Domestic Hot Water, Pumps and Controls)\n\u00ab Electrical (Service, Distribution, Lighting, Controls)\n\ne Renewable energy systems (If Applicable)\n\ne Building Envelope (Glazing, Roofing, Waterproofing)\n\nCommissioning Agent is required to provide documented\nconfirmation that this facility fulfills the functional and performance\nrequirements of the building owner, occupants, operators, and\nLEED v4.1.\n\nCommiissioning Services:\n\n1. The current SF 254 template is located at\n\nhttp:/Incadmin.nc.gov/businesses/construction/forms-documents which is the State Building Commission approved\nform.\n\nIn the interest of cost-savings to the designers, consistency of the submittals and more efficient use of time by the\npre-selection committee, the submitted information package should not include any notebooks, binders, tab, clips,\netc. The format should be 8-1/2\" x 11\" pages stapled in the upper left-hand corner.
