The United States Coast Guard, Office of Contracts and Procurement, intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, under the statutory authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), with Rolls Royce Corp (DUNS: 804754141). to provide training support services to conduct 3 distinct types of instructional courses for maintenance and troubleshooting of the Rolls Royce AE2100D2 engines installed on the HC-27J aircraft. There is only one source that can provide these services. Rolls Royce is the sole manufacture of the AE2100D2 engine and holds all proprietary information. All course content/materials are proprietary and training aids contain intellectual property.This synopsis is for notification purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals.
