It is anticipated that some of the residents will have accessibility needs. Renovations are required to change layout as outlined below and make spaces accessible, as well as coordinate sprinkler designs and other life safety provisions. The architect will work with BC Housing and Vancouver Island Health Authority on designing a plan for the layout conversion, apply for necessary permits to Authority Having Jurisdiction, assist with tendering and provide services during construction and post-construction phases.
