Direct Award Notice Notice is hereby given by TRIUMF of its intent to contract with Nor-Cal Products, Inc. The contract will not exceed $82,000 USD and will include twelve (12) customized vacuum chamber weldments delivered February 2020.
The purpose of this contract is to provide expert services to achieve the following objectives:
1. Supply vacuum chamber weldments that meet TRIUMF’s tight tolerance specifications
2. Follow previously agreed upon manufacturing processes
3. Utilize existing jigs & fixtures where possible
TRUMF has chosen not

to tender the contemplated contract for the following reasons:
• For additional deliveries by the original supplier of goods or services that were not included in the initial procurement, if a change of supplier for such additional goods or services
• Would cause significant inconvenience or substantial duplication of costs for the procuring entity
Those wishing to object to the decision must contact Kinny Lo, by email (klo@triumf.ca) on or before 2:00 pm Pacific Time on September 27, 2019. presenting in writing specific reasons for their objection. The service provider's qualifications and ability to provide the same level of
service at a lower cost within the required time frame will be the key criteria with regard to the consideration of the service providers' objections.
All amendments to the associated notice, including amended documents, plans and specifications (where applicable), are issued on
BC Bid. MERX asks that you refer to the
