The Village of Schaumburg, IL will accept proposals via the Village's e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/villageofschaumburg for 2024-RFP-026, Inspection and Plan Review Services to be received no later than Friday, April 12, 2024, 10:00 am. Proposals submitted after the specified time will not be accepted. The Village of Schaumburg’s Community Development Department (hereinafter “CDD”) wishes to secure the services of a professional inspection service firm (hereinafter “inspectional firm”) to perform various building inspections of residential developments, individual units, commercial properties, and municipal facilities within the corporate limits of the Village of Schaumburg. Additionally, plan review services on an hourly basis shall be required for various Building, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (Alarm and Sprinkler
Systems) on an as needed basis as directed by village staff. BackgroundSchaumburg is the largest center of economic development in the State of Illinois, outside the City of Chicago.
