The drawings provided are not an inclusive set of drawings for this requirement.The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) located in Crane, Indiana is conducting market research for vendors with the technical capabilities to provide upgraded and new equipment for the three existing Dematic Mini-Load Machines in the Automated Storage
Retrieval System (ASRS) and upgrade to the latest Mini-Load Storage and Retrieval Machines (SRM) controls components. A RFI, N0016422SNB77 was previously announced for this requirement. As part of continuing Market Research, the Government is planning to conduct an Industry Day for the ASRS requirement. The Government intends to hold the Industry Day to allow providers, integrators, and manufacturers of Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) equipment to provide information on the replacement and improvement of aging Storage and Retrieval Machines (SRMs). The Industry Day shall provide an opportunity for interested parties to visit the site and observe the current conditions of the ASRS as a means to first examine the construct of the existing equipment and determine the presence of potential obstacles prior to submitting a quotation. This Industry Day Notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes and all information provided is subject to change. It does not constitute a solicitation (Request for Proposal or Request for Quotations) or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This Industry Day Notice does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Furthermore, the Government is not, at this time, seeking proposals. Parties are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Industry Day Notice. The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by any attendee for travel expenses or marketing efforts. All costs associated with responding to this Industry Day Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense.The Industry Day will be held on 02 March from 0900 to approximately 1300. Interested parties may, and are encouraged, to submit questions before and after the Industry Day in writing to the Contract Specialist, Becky Minks, at becky.a.minks.civ@us.navy.mil.Responses to questions during the Industry Day will be limited.
