Office Equipment (Copier) Request for Proposal The Board of Education of Mexico School District is seeking bids for office equipment, including Sharp Copiers, Sharp multifunctional devices, Ricoh Copier and related services for the District. Sealed bids must meet the specifications and be received by 1:30 PM on August 1, 2022, addressed to: Mexico School District #59 Office Equipment (Copier) Attn: Bethany Collins 2101 Lakeview Street Mexico, MO 65265 Bids will be good for 180 days and will be opened and read at 1:45 PM on August 1, 2022. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and accept that bid which appears to be in the best interest of the School District. The Board reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid, or to reject any or all bids, or any part of any
bid. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled time for the opening of bids. Any bid received after the time and date specified shall not be considered. All proposals received become part of the District’s file. It is the policy of the Mexico School District in making purchases to give preference to and encourage the purchase of all commodities manufactured, mined, produced or grown with the municipality, county and state, and to all firms, corporations, or individuals doing business as Missouri firms, corporations, or individuals, when quality and price are approximately the same. It is further the policy of the school district to encourage the purchase of products manufactured, assembled or produced in the United States. The District shall have the right to enter into negotiations in an effort to reduce the amount of the bid with the lowest responsible bidder should the lowest responsible bidder’s bid exceed the funds available. The Mexico Board of Education approves payment of all bills at its regularly scheduled meetings held on the third Tuesday of each month. Penalties imposed requiring payment prior to the aforementioned time will not be accepted. REQUEST FOR BIDS Mexico School District #59 is accepting fuel bids (fuel must meet FHA Regulations) for the 2022-2023 school year. The price quoted should be effective from September 1, 2022 through August 31, 2023. Supplier shall furnish a minimum: Diesel - 750 gallon capacity self-contained tank with electric meter pump; Gasoline (87%) - 500 gallon capacity self-contained tank with electric pump. Supplier shall make delivery within one day after request is made. Mexico School District #59 is exempt from State Sales and Federal Excise Taxes. The district requires copies of Material Safety Data Sheets that comply with OSHA’s standards for all products. Please quote two separate ways: 1) Fixed One Year Contract. 2) Daily Market Sealed bids must be received on or before 2:00 P.M., July 12, 2022 addressed to: Mexico School District #59 DIESEL FUEL BID DUE 7/12/2022, 2:00 P.M.
