License access to the AHA Annual Survey Database, AHA Healthcare IT Database, and Payment Database, and Financial Database

NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE AN ORDER. This is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) hereby announces its intent to issue a sole source order to The American Hospital Association, Inc (AHA), at 155 N Wacker Dr, Ste 400, Chicago IL, 60606 for license to access AHA’s proprietary databases and support. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541990- All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services, with a size standard of $19.5 million.The Government needs a license to access the American Hospital Association’s (AHA) proprietary survey databases, including the Annual Survey, the Healthcare IT Supplement, and the Financial Database. The license includes the databases provided via a secure electronic delivery process and a documentation book with a Summary of Changes that identifies open, closed, and merged hospitals compared to the prior year. The Annual Survey and Financial databases are released annually in late
