NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCEThe Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Department of Interior, intends to award a sole source purchase order (PO) under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c)(1) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. The National American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 922120 - Police Protection. Dona Ana County, 845 N. Motel Blvd. Rm. 211., Las Cruces, NM 88007-8100 has been determined the only source that can fill the needs of this requirement. The Dona Ana County Sheriff's Department will enforce the civil and criminal laws of the State of New Mexico, Dona Ana County, on the public lands, waters, roads administered by the BLM. This action will result in a Firm Fixed Price PO with a period of performance that shall not exceed 5 years.The Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. BLM
has only one know source for this procurement that is in the Government best interest. All questions must be submitted by June 18, 2018, 4:30 PM MT and no questions shall be accepted after this time. Interested parties must express their interest and shall submit their capability statement and any other information considered pertinent to the Contracting Officer no later than June 22, 2018, 4:30 PM MT.
