Despite the community need for the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), the program remains under-utilized during the summer season when regular program operations occur. The scope of work is to expand community awareness, increase access to summer meals and maximize community partners and will include: (1) the development of 3 or more separate concepts with graphics to promote the SFSP, which may include concepts on how to keep children coming to SFSP meal sites, how to get new children participating at SFSP meal sites, and how to engage community organizations in the Program; (2) the coordination and attendance at two information-gathering/background meetings with Department SFSP subject matter experts; and (3) the development of a marketing plan for the upcoming 2023 or future summer seasons.
