Project Description:SMART is seeking sealed bids from licensed and experienced contractors for a project to repair barge collision related damage to the Black Point Swing Bridge. One portion of the work is to repair substantial damage to the fender protection system including driving new piles, redriving existing piles, and reconstruction of the fendering system. The second portion of the work is to replace structural truss members and rebalance the span.
This work will occur at SMART’s Black Point Bridge crossing the Petaluma River at river mile 0.8.
SMART has secured

all required environmental permits for this work. The allowable work window due to the permit restrictions is September 1, 2022 through November 30, 2022.
The deadline to submit bids for this project is 2:00pm (PST) on May 20, 2022.
