IF YOU NEED HELP REGISTERING, please call BidNet Direct’s Support Department at 800-835-4603.To best serve the needs and interests of Montgomery County, it is the intention of this solicitation to obtain a contract for Repair and Maintenance Services for Heavy/Medium Duty Trucks and Miscellaneous Light Vehicles and Equipment in order to efficiently maintain and service heavy/medium and miscellaneous light equipment. Under the terms of this solicitation, the resultant contract will be considered “requirements-type” contract only.Equipment for repair/service are heavy/medium duty, up to, but not limited to “Class 8”. A bid from a bidder which cannot accommodate and perform repair/service for the full range of sizes as specified in Section C, Item 68, will be rejected. Vehicle repair/service will include all necessary labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the required tasks, as outlined in this solicitation. The Contractor will be responsible for transport of vehicles for repair/service, to and from the County’s facility. Although the contractor will normally furnish all required materials, the County reserves the right to furnish any parts for work performed under this contract.The contractor must be able to perform all aspects of repair. The contractor must be capable of performing undercarriage repairs on a Truck and/or Equipment of up to, but not limited to, 60,000 GVW.
