In order to bid, resellers must at least be a VMware Certified Advanced Connect Partner- https://www.vmware.com/partners/work-with-vmware/partner-connect.html. Please provide a “Partner Certificate” from VMware which demonstrates satisfaction of this requirement. Bidders are to quote the

bill of materials specified in the Excel Bid Sheet file (fill in the yellow highlighted cells) and provide a quote on company letterhead that a County Contract Release PO can be issued on. The quote shall be simple and bare bones as possible, just the necessary information and bill of materials (BOM) item/pricing table and contain no added contractual terms and conditions. Bidders shall fill in the yellow highlighted cells in the Excel Bid Sheet in all three tabs. Qualified OEM VMware VARs shall reach out to the VMware representative Dan Rozzano at drozzano@vmware.com to obtain their pricing and then determine their pricing to the County by completing the Excel Bid Sheet file. This solicitation may result in an Agreement/Contract and a County Contract Release Purchase Order to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. In each period that the County elects to renew, the County shall pay annually and issue separate POs for each annual payment. See attached Agreement must be accepted as is with no material changes by the Awardee. It is expected to be executed by the Awardee and the County. The Order of Precedence shall be: 1. EXHIBIT A – COUNTY STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR AGREEMENT FOR GOODS & SERVICES Rev. January 2022 2. EXHIBIT B – PRICING AND FEE SCHEDULE 3. EXHIBIT C – INSURANCE 4. EXHIBIT D – CONTRACTOR CERTIFICATION OF COMPLIANCE WITH COVID-19 VACCINE REQUIREMENTS (Version Effective September 27, 2022) 5. EXHIBIT E – REMOTE ACCESS 6. EXHIBIT F - COUNTY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY USER RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENT FOR THIRD PARTIES 7. EXHIBIT G – VMWARE ENTERPRISE LICENSE AGREEMENT (ELA) EXHIBIT B structure will be determined by the Excel Bid Sheet file. This is an Invitation to Bid, which is an offer and acceptance. Bidders who take exception to any of the terms and conditions in the Agreement will be deemed non-responsive and their bids will not be considered. The County does not guarantee, either expressly or impliedly, to purchase the items on the Excel Bid Sheet or to award this ITB. Key Requirements: The higher the discount and the lower the VAR uplift that can be provided, the better the chances of your firm being the Awardee with the lowest bid.
