PICK UP TRUCK VEHICLE BID INVITATION postdate:- 10-Nov-2022 12:00:00 AM responsedate:- 12-Dec-2022 10:00:00 AM ( 18h, 48m+ ) description:- PICK UP TRUCK VEHICLE BID INVITATIONThe East Carroll Parish School board will receive sealed bids on one (1) new 2021 and later model Ford F-150 XL at the office of the Superintendent of Schools no later than Monday, December 12, 2022 at 10:00 am. The following bid conditions will govern the entire bid process. All proposals must be forwarded to the East Carroll Parish School Board by Certified Mail through the United States Postal Service to arrive on or before December 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. NO HAND DELIVERED BIDS will be ACCEPTED. The envelope containing the sealed bid shall be addressed to the East Carroll Parish School Board, 514 Third Street, Lake Providence, Louisiana 71254, and the exterior thereof shall be clearly marked "Vehicle Bid." ATTN: Dr. Kristel Webb, Instructional Support Supervisor. The pick-up truck must meet and/or exceed all

state and federal minimum requirements at the time of purchase. Using the bid specifications as a guide, vendors may bid the equivalent in any manufacturer’s model or chassis. If exceptions to the bid specifications are included in a bid, they must be clearly listed on a separate page marked “Exceptions to Bid Specifications.” The exceptions will be considered when awarding the bid. All bids must be submitted on forms provided by the East Carroll Parish School Board in order to be considered a proper bid. Bid forms and bid specifications for the pick-up truck may be acquired from East Carroll Parish School Board, 514 Third Street, Lake Providence, Louisiana or by contacting Kendall Thompson, Transportation Manager by calling (318) 559-2222 ext. 2021 or (318) 699-2162. The school board reserves the right to inspect any vehicle, once it is delivered, and prior to payment being made to the vendor. Arrangements to inspect the vehicles may be made with Kendall Thompson, by telephone at (318) 559-2222 ext. 2021 or (318) 669-2162. All proposals in hand will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. Any proposals received subsequent to the opening will be returned unopened. Award of the purchase will be made to the lowest responsible bidder subject to acceptance and approval by the East Carroll Parish School Board.
