Marin City Youth - Transition Age Youth

We invite you to propose a comprehensive and impactful Marin City Youth TAY program that empowers young individuals to overcome obstacles, realize their full potential and become the makers of their own success. The primary objective of the Transition Age Youth (TAY) Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) programs in Marin County is to mitigate the long-term consequences of unaddressed mental challenges. Transition Age Youth (TAY), including at-risk populations such as LGBTQ+, foster youth and youth involved in the juvenile justice system, refers to individuals between the ages of 16 and 25, and often younger teens as well, who are in a crucial stage of transitioning from adolescence to adulthood. This period presents unique challenges and opportunities as young people navigate their path to independence, facing a range of experiences and circumstances that require specialized support and services.
