Notice of Intent to Increase the Ceiling on N66001-17-C-4024

May 24, 2017 10:58 am This is a notice of intent to increase the ceiling of Contract N66001-17-C-4024 to Space Data Corporation, awarded by SSC Pacific on behalf of the Defense
Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Microsystems Technology Office,
(MTO) on 2 February 2017. The performers effort, Advanced High Altitude
Release and Tracking of Vanishing Air Delivery Vehicles was selected to
support MTO with a series of high altitude balloon drops for ICARUS air vehicle
testing and for design/build of delivery payload for the ICARUS air vehicles.
This additional effort is to provide multiple non-tethered tests of different
glider launch mechanisms and to provide a video capture capability.

The NAICS code for this procurement is 541712. Due to the nature of Research
and Development efforts, DARPA MTO could not have reasonably estimated the need
for the additional effort required under this effort, that will benefit from
continued this additional tasking under the current contract.

This action includes a ceiling increase of approximately $100,000.00. This
notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes, however,
