ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT OF THIS ADDENDUM BY INSERTING ITS NUMBER IN THE BID FORM; FAILURE TO DO SO MAY SUBJECT BONA FIDE BIDDER TO DISQUALIFICATION.

THIS ADDENDUM FORMS A PART OF THE PROJECT DOCUMENTS; IT MODIFIES THEM AS FOLLOWS:

The mandatory pre-bid meeting was held Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at 10 am. The attendees were:

Ken Rearden – Hall County

Major topics discussed:

1: Opening Remarks and Introductions:

Debra Howington opened the meeting at approximately

10:00 am and stated that the purpose of the meeting was to review the project and receive questions from the prospective bidders that attended.
We then had each person to introduce themselves and state what company they represented.

2. Review of Project:

a.) Lee Smith provided an overview of the scope and purpose of the project.

b.) Ken Rearden advised the attendees of the following:
     1.) The County opened bids from pipe suppliers on Friday, 4/12, and is
     anticipating a 3 – 4 week delivery timeframe for ductile iron pipe (DIP).
      2.) The County is purchasing tees for ARV’s on this project but everything above
      The tee will be the responsibility of the Contractor.
      3.) The land disturbance permit has been approved by the County.
      4.) There will be no horizontal direction drilling in the bid.
      5.) New line items to be added: Asphalt, Rock
      6.) The County has ordered fast-grip gaskets, including 25 RJ, so those will come
     off of the bid.

c.) Lee S. reviewed the project procurement and construction deadline:
     1.) Anticipated contract award date is May 23, 2019.
      2.) There is a conflict in the anticipated completion date between the project spec
      and the IFB. Both should be based on 90 days from Notice to Proceed. The will
      be reconciled by this addendum.
      3.) The IFB states the work is to be fully completed (Final Completion) within 30
      days after Substantial Completion.

3. Questions:

Q. Will there be water available at the site?
A. Yes, there are hydrants there that can be used for water supply.

Q. Where are bids to be submitted?
A. Either mail them to reach Debra before May 1 @ 3pm. These can be hand delivered to
Hall County Government Building, 2875 Browns Bridge Road, 4th. Floor, Debra Howington,
Gainesville, GA, 30504.

Lee and Debra both asked for any additional questions to be sent in writing to both of them to make
sure that the questions are captured accurately and responded to appropriately. No further questions
were sent after the meeting.

4. Added to the ftp site are the following:
ECS Report (Geotech Report for Borings Performed)
Revised dwgs. Cover page: C-1, C-2, C-3, C-12, CD-2A and CD-7
Revised specification sections 011000 and 01015
Pre-Bid meeting minutes with questions answered
Pre-Bid meeting sign in sheet
Revised bid form (the form in the bid package is what should be filled out and returned).
