The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), has a requirement to repair a Trane Chiller located in Ames, IA 50010.Project:  Chiller #7 Condensate Heat Exchanger Repair/Replacement.                                      2020-SS38GENERAL INFORMATION1.0  Scope of Work Repair/Replace condensate heat exchanger on Chiller #72.0  Background: Chiller #7 at the USDA NCAH (Trane manufacturer, model number ABTF1050, Serial Number: L06G03556 has a bad condensate heat exchanger (Part number: (Trane EXC01599) causing it to not operate at all.CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS3.0  Technical Requirements/Tasks:To repair/replace the leaking condensate heat exchanger on Chiller #7. This includes the following scope of work;Replace the condensate heat exchanger on Chiller #7Lock out unitPush bromide out and store in customers containers (nitrogen provided by owner)Remove failed condensate heat exchanger for disposalProvide and replace condensate heat exchanger
