The Department of Veterans Affairs, Tennessee Valley VA Medical Center (VAMC) and Network Contracting Office (NCO) 09 intends to issue and award a Sole Source, Base and Four Option Years, Firm-Fixed Price type contract to COMPUTRITION INC, for Computrition software with the Vista/CPRS interface for VISN 09, Nutrition and Food Services (NFS) at the following locations: Nashville, Murfreesboro, Mountain Home, Louisville, Memphis, and Lexington VA Medical Centers. This software package is designed to help facilities manage food service operations to include nutritional care, diet office automation, menu and inventory management, and safety features that flag for allergies and real time diet changes. It has been determined that through initial Market Research, only 1 (one) responsible source can provide the required equipment as identified below, in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will

satisfy agency requirements.
