Project Overview Minnesota State is requesting bids for Amana Air Conditioner Units (Model # PBC092G00CC; CCY 9 MBTU 115V TTW A/C; Quantity 145) for McElroy Residence Community on the campus of Minnesota State University, Mankato. This purchase is part of Residential Life’s long-range plan to renovate and improve student rooms and provide greater resident satisfaction. McElroy G-Hall is a four-story wing in the McElroy Residence Community which contains 95 student rooms. Technical/Functional Requirements • Amana 26” Built-In Air Conditioners through-the-wall design for flush mount applications. • Amana model #: PBC092G00CC; CCY 9 MBTU 115V TTW A/C. (Brand and style is based on existing A/C units installed in our Residence Halls. No alternatives will be accepted.) • Quantity: One Hundred Forty-Five (145). • Standard manufacturer's warranty applies. • List A/C unit price and delivery price separately. • Delivery: Units must be delivered to Minnesota State University, Mankato. - May 20 –
June 20, 2024 is the estimated delivery window units need to be delivered to campus. The exact date will be determined by MSU and will be coordinated with the selected vendor(s). Units to be delivered to McElroy Hall on the west entrance between McElroy Residence Community and Carkoski Commons. Delivery must be coordinated with MSU contact. Purchase Order Terms Minnesota State desires to provide a purchase order to the successful Respondent(s) effective by April 10, 2024. If Minnesota State and Respondent are unable to come to agreement with vendor by April 5, 2024, then Minnesota State reserves the right to seek an alternative Respondent(s). Selection A selection committee made up by several representatives from Residential Life and Facilities Management will review all bids. Selection will be based on the lowest priced bid from a qualified vendor. Vendor bids must meet our terms and conditions and RFB requirements.
