The CRC region consists of the Counties of Amelia, Buckingham, Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway, and Prince Edward. The CRC held two rounds of funding in 2022 and February 2024. The CRC awarded $1,654,199.00 to establish 22 affordable workforce housing units. Projects were funded in Charlotte, Cumberland, Lunenburg, Nottoway, and Prince Edward Counties. The CRC has a

remaining $225,357.46 available to be distributed to new projects. This round is open to our entire region. The CRC is now seeking funding applications from Experienced Housing Partners to establish affordable workforce housing units within the CRC region by June 30, 2025. Eligible Applicants include - member local governments, and experienced affordable housing developers, both non-profit and for profit. Applications are due - Monday, April 8, 2024.
