American Philosophical Association invites applications for Berry Fund

The American Philosophical Association(APA) was founded in 1900 to promote the exchange of ideas among philosophers, encourage creative and scholarly activity in philosophy, facilitate philosophers’ professional work and teaching, and represent philosophy as a discipline.Today, APA promotes the discipline and profession of philosophy, both within the academy and in the public arena, supports the professional development of philosophers at all levels and works to foster greater understanding and appreciation of the value of philosophical inquiry.The APA invites applications for the Berry Fund to support the APA committee on public philosophy, which works to find and create opportunities to demonstrate the personal value and social usefulness of philosophy.To be eligible, applicants must be members of the APA.For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the American Philosophical Association
