THIS IS A SYNOPSIS NOTICE ONLY. This is not a solicitation or request for proposal/bid/quotation and no contract will be awarded from this notice. Military Sealift Command (MSC) has a requirement for the upcoming Midterm Availability of the USNS GUADALUPE (T-AO 200). The period of performance for this requirement is on or about 10 July 2023 for sixty (60) calendar days. The USNS GUADALUPE (T-AO 200) has a length of 677 Ft and 6 in, a Beam of 97 Ft, Draft of 36 Ft and Displacement of 40,700 long Tons and 42,382 short tons at full load. Work is to be performed at the Contractor’s facility on or about the above mentioned dates. Area of Consideration is West Coast.Major work items associated with this availability include:AFT Stern Seal Replacement, CCSI Deckhouse Preservation, Guadalupe Tank Deck Overhead, SSDG Engine Service (Bergen)The estimated issue date for this solicitation is on or about 19 December 2022. Upon issuance, the solicitation and supporting documentation will be posted
and be found on www.SAM.gov under solicitation number N3220523R4016.A Sources Sought Notice was posted on SAM.gov on 3 November 2022 with a response date of 18 November 2022 by 1400 EST. As a result of said notice, this requirement will be solicited as Full and Open competition. MSC’s Small Business Deputy Director, Jacqueline Alford, reviewed the market research results and concurred with the decision to procure this requirement as such on 30 November 2022. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation in response to the solicitation which shall be considered by MSC. Additionally, all responses must provide a Unique Entity ID and a Cage Code.The appropriate NAICS Code is 336611. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from this potential source as a result of this synopsis. There are no responses due based on this pre-solicitation notice.
