Professional Development & Educational Services

This bid is for the purchase of Contracted Professional Development & Educational Services including Professional Development, Speakers, Educational Services, Educational Consulting, Translation Services, and Interpreters as applies to K-12 education. This RFP will not be a guarantee of purchase for any services, but to establish a list of Approved Vendors for these services. Contracted Services shall be defined as “services delivered by an independent contractor (individual, entity, or firm) not on the payroll of ESC Region 11, that offers its services to the public, are to be paid on a fee basis for specialized services that are usually considered to be temporary or short-term in nature, in areas that supplement the expertise of ESC Region 11”. ESC Region 11 reserves the right to determine if a specialized service is relevant in the scope of this proposal. If the service is deemed not relevant, no award will be made to the respondent. ESC Region 11 will purchase services on an “as

needed basis”. Note regarding Sole Source: ESC Region 11 urges vendors that provide these services and consider themselves a sole source to respond to the RFP. A Sole Source claim is rarely accepted as a procurement exemption. Attention Previously Awarded Vendors: If your company is a previously awarded vendor on an ESC Region 11 Contracted Professional Development Services RFP a new RFP submission is not required.
