COUNTY OF AMADOR INFORMAL REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS 24-07 Community Based Child Abuse Prevention Program (CBCAP) PROJECT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The County of Amador Department of Social Services is requesting proposals from qualified consultants for improvement of child abuse prevention programs and services offered in the County to meet the unmet needs outlined in the Amador County System Improvement Plan (SIP). The Amador County Department of Social Services will distribute, through the competitive proposal process outlined in this Request for Proposals (RFP), approximately $12,200.00 in Community Based Child Abuse Prevention Program (CBCAP) funds for the period of July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025. Due to possible changes to the allocation the County receives from the Federal funding, the contract amount will be re-evaluated annually. The County anticipates entering into a three (3) year contract with the successful firm. County shall have the right to terminate this agreement upon
three (3) days written notice in the event that the receipt of funds from the State is reduced, suspended, or terminated for any reason. Sealed bids will be received by the County of Amador Purchasing Office; by U.S. Mail at 12200-B Airport Road, Jackson, CA 95642-9527; by U.P.S., Federal Express, or by another courier to 12200-B Airport Road, Martell, CA; 95654, until 1:30 PM, Thursday, April 18, 2024 , at which time sealed bids will be opened and read in the office of General Services Administration, located at the above Martell address.
