NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTIONSolicitation No. 80AFRC18R0001AIRCRAFT FLIGHT CREW SUPPORTNASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (NASA AFRC) intends to solicit and award a single Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for NASA's Aircraft Flight Crew Support. This requirement is intended as an Agency-wide contract. The duration of the contract period is anticipated to include a one-year base period and 4 one-year options.This requirement is to provide flight crew operations support as needed to all NASA Centers. This support shall include all aircraft operations, aircrew, and flight-line operations. Requirements include, but are not limited to: 1) Performing research, development and sustainment efforts across a broad spectrum of functional disciplines in order to effectively assist in the implementation of Government objectives; 2) Supporting project design reviews, technical interchange meetings, program status reviews, flight readiness reviews; 3) Attending meetings and discussing activities or present data related to the contract as requested by the Government; and 4) Supporting surge demands in staffing or workloads dictated by mission deployments, operations or mission requirements by, for example, adjusting shifts, adding multiple shifts, or part time/temporary personnel.This notice is not a Request for Proposal (RFP).
