Click Here for the link to register. https://iowadotebid.ionwave.net/VendorRegistration/PreliminaryInfo.aspx Overview and Scope of Work: The Iowa DOT is soliciting competitive bids from licensed plumbing contractors to confirm that existing section of sewer line between clean out and lift stations (shown on areal plan) slopes backward to lift

station. Once verified, Iowa DOT would like to abandon line as allowed per code and have vendor provide and bore a new schedule 40 pipe to lift station. New pipe section to maintain a minimum 2% slope or higher to lift station for proper pipe flow. New schedule 40 pipe to match existing pipe diameter. Assume 4” and confirm on site. All work to comply with current and local codes. Vendor to dispose of any removed/demoed debris. Provide recording of line scope with inverts once the new line has been installed. Scope shall confirm invert issue has been addressed. Estimated project period is to begin as quickly as possible after contract award with completion on or before September 6, 2022 or as determined in the pre-construction meeting by the DOT Project Manager. This includes punch list items and final inspection and acceptance by the Iowa DOT. There is no pre-bid meeting scheduled at this time.
