DESCRIPTION OF WORK





:


    Project is to provide and install self-contained pilot testing equipment to confirm the treatability of groundwater for potable use.  The primary targeted constituents for treatment are Arsenic, Fluoride, Iron, Chloride, and total dissolved solids (TDS).  Bidder will select and obtain rental pilot equipment from the list of pre-approved vendors.


 


 Scope includes:




 







Delivery, unloading, and placement of pilot equipment at pre-prepared site (provided by others).  Site anticipated ready for delivery by July 19, 2021.
 



Installation of pilot equipment, including provision of containerized housing, connections between pilot equipment, and connection to site water, wastewater, and electrical services (provided by others).
 



Set up, operate, and maintain the pilot units for the duration of the pilot testing period.
 



Undertake sampling for the duration of the pilot testing period and ship samples to a testing laboratory.  Sampling bottles, shipping labels, cost of shipping, and laboratory analysis provided by others.
 



Disconnect and remove pilot equipment from site at the conclusion of the testing period.


 
 



Anticipated contract award date is June 8, 2021, with an anticipated Notice to Proceed issued June 18, 2021.  Anticipated delivery of the pilot equipment to site (July 19) is 31 days after Notice to Proceed.  The period for pilot installation, set up, testing, and removal is 98 days.

: A cashier’s check, a certified check, or a surety bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany the sealed proposal of each bidder.  Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders.  Deposits will be returned to the successful bidder upon execution of contract documents.




*Bids shall also be made in accordance with the prevailing hourly rate of wages for this locality and project as determined by the Commission of Labor and filed with the Secretary of State, a copy of which is on file with the City Clerk, in accordance with the provisions of 40 O.S. 1971, 196.1-196.12, which prevailing hourly rate of wages is made a part of this notice by reference as though fully set forth herein.
