The proposed solution must be a proven vendor hosted/SaaS solution base system. The County is not interested in beta systems or acquiring professional services to design and develop a system. The integrated solution must meet the technical, business, and functional requirements as defined in this Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFP may result in a single award. It is the County’s intent to award a contract with an initial term of five (5) years unless terminated earlier or otherwise amended. Both a PDF

(.pdf) and WORD (.docx) version of the RFP Document are attached to accommodate proposer's preference. County’s technical standards are Intel platform, Windows operating system for servers. The desktop/laptops are mostly Windows based (Windows XP SP3 - legacy systems that are currently being retired or upgraded, Windows 7 and 8); however, Mac OS X laptops are also used on a very limited and exception basis. County Internet and Remote Access Methods: Cisco ASA – Mainly used for client-based VPN for technical support. Juniper SSL VPN – For employee access to email and some internal systems. Microsoft ISA – For employee email, calendar and contact synchronization. Citrix NetScaler and ZenDesktop. County hosted web servers – County and department public portals. External (cloud) hosted web servers – Microsoft Office 365 for employee email and office productivity.
