BACKGROUNDThe Sherwood Water and Sewer Utility distributes purchased surface water from the City of Appleton and owns and operates two elevated towers and three pressure reducing valves. The Utility owns and operates an activated sludge plant (in the process of renovation and expansion), four lift stations, 27 miles of collection main, and 350 manholes. The utilities serve approximately 1300 customers.
