Galena Park Independent School District (GPISD) is requesting Competitive Sealed Proposals (CSP 23-203) for Tice Elementary School HVAC Upgrades and Replacement GPISD Project 111-2022. Base proposals are due on October 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm CT and Alternate proposals are due

the same day at 3:00 pm CT after which proposals will be opened publicly and read aloud at the GPISD Administration Building. Submissions must be delivered to the Capital Projects Department in the GPISD Administration Building, 14705 Woodforest Blvd., Houston, TX 77015, in a sealed envelope by the close date and time stated in this bid event. A Proposal Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the proposal amount is required. The scope of work includes Demolition of existing chillers, cooling towers, pumps and piping within the central plant and cooling tower service yard. HVAC system replacement to include new air-cooled chillers, pumps and associated piping, the relocation of existing walk-in cooler/freezer condensing unit, HVAC DDC controls system to be updated for new equipment and all existing air handlers, VAV boxes, and split systems, provide and install UV lights in all air handlers. A pre-proposal conference will be held at the Tice Elementary School Cafeteria, on September 23 at 10:00 am. Attendance is highly recommended. Proposal Documents will be available on September 15, 2022 on the district website, and on the GPISD eBid system https://galenaparkisd.ionwave.net.
