Description of ProcurementThe University is conducting a Request for Proposal (RFP)for the procurement of cleaning and custodial services required for the University campus comprising a number of the university’s owned buildings, as further described in Appendix B. The Successful Proponent shall provide continuance of employment for the current employees pursuant to

s.77(1) of the Employment Standards Act, 2000 SO 2000, c41. Proponents are advised to obtain their own legal advice regarding their obligations under employment and labour legislation, as the Successful Proponent will be required to comply with all applicable laws in providing the Services. The intends to execute the Master Services Agreement, attached as Appendix E. The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.
