FY22 SHIL REPLACE GEOTHERMAL HEAT PUMPS AT CORINITH, MSAMENDMENT 0001: 04.20.22 closing solicitation.A new solicitation will be created as no technical acceptance proposals were provided for this solicitation. The National Park Service, Southeast Region, West Major Acquisition Buying Office, hereby issues a combined synopsis/solicitation for a requirement for the Shiloh National Military Park at the Corinth Interpretive Center. The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking quotes to replace (9) nine geothermal water-cooled heat pumps with electric rooftop and split system air cooled electric heat pumps. Water source heat pumps are sized from 3.5 ton to 12 ton. New air-cooled heat pumps will meet the same tonnage as existing. To install these rooftop and split system mounted units, most of the units will have to be fitted with new ductwork and electrical wiring to connect to existing components. The roof will also have to be modified with holes cut for ductwork and unit placement. The
existing geothermal system will be drained, removed, and certain components such as the drilled wells abandoned. The heat pumps are located in mezzanine type areas and are extremely hard to access, even for preventative maintenance functions, therefore adding to the cost of removing due to having to disassemble through an open roof hatch. Carrier, Trane, or equivalent brands shall be installed. Detailed specifications are attached to this package. Please request the drawings by emailing tara_clark@nps.gov.PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $520,000-$535,000.
