This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a SOURCE SOUGHT notice announcement only. This synopsis is a market research tool being utilize by the Department of the Navy (DoN) for informational and planning purposes. The information received will be utilized by the Navy Reserve Forces Command (CNRFC) to facilitate the acquisition decision-making process. This is a survey of the Market of potential vendors capable of providing the services defined herein. Based upon this survey a decision will be made whether sufficient sources exist to solicit the requirement on a full and open completive basis. This notice not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Invitation for Bid (IFB) or Request for Proposal (RFP), and it does not commit the Government to issue an RFQ, IFB, or RFP in the future. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government for any purpose other than market research and is not restricted to a particular acquisition approach. No reimbursement will be made for
any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the evaluation, and any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Navy Reserve Forces Command (CNRFC), located in Norfolk, VA. is seeking eligible firms capable of providing Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. The Salesforce CRM software and licenses are needed to design and build a CNRFC Salesforce CRM application, which facilitates Navy Reserve processes related to topics such as pay, training, medical, orders, supply, and funeral honors. Interested firms are encouraged to respond. Upon review of the industry response to this Source Sought synopsis, the Government will move forward with the acquisition approach that is determined to be in the best interest of the Government. The appropriate NAICS code is 511210. This SYPNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool being used to determined the availability and adequacy of potential business sources prior to determined the methods of acquisition and issuance of an award. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. it is requested that interested business submit to the contracting office a brief capability statement package (no more than 10 pages single sided and 5 pages double sided in length, the single-space, 12 point font minimum) demonstrating an ability to perform the requested services. Project Description: The Salesforce CRM software and licenses are needed to design and build a CNRFC Salesforce CRM application, which facilitates Navy Reserve processes related to topics such as pay, training, medical, orders, supply, and funeral honors. The Salesforce CRM application will provide CNRFC the ability to digitize current manual, paper-based processes and make those processes accessible via a multitude of wireless devices. The Salesforce CRM application will provide Navy Reservists an efficient means of communicating with their Navy Operational Support Centers (NOSCs), reduce NOSC staff workload, increase the speed at which processes are performed, and provide Navy Reserve Force leadership with improved tools for tracking and accountability. In addition, the Salesforce CRM application is the only CRM application that includes a multi-tenant, hosted cloud development platform with the CRM license called the Salesforce Lightning Platform. This platform allows CNRFC the ability to build additional functionality and extend the CRM applications to meet their business processes and requirements for the future.
