NOAA Ship Pisces CAT Engine Overhaul

THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6, AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED.This synopsis/solicitation 1305M222QNMAN1383 constitutes a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-07.The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Office of Marine and Naval Aviation (OMAO), NOAA Ship Pisces has a requirement for overhaul of the two 3512 CAT Diesel Engines and inspection of the two 3508 CAT Diesel Engines.  All work shall be accomplished by an authorized repair facility of Caterpillar Tractor Company and in accordance with the Statement of Work.  Period of Performance is Date of Award – January 31, 2023Period of Repair is December 1, 2022 – January 31, 2023. The

Government will award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Offer (LPTA).  Quote shall include all costs associated with the CLIN unless otherwise indicated on the vendor’s quote.  All work will be accomplished while Pisces is dockside at NOAA Gulf Marine Support Facility, 151 Watts Ave, Pascagoula,     MS 39567This RFQ is 100% set aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 333618, Other Engine Equipment Manufacturing, with a Size Standard of 1500 Employees A contract issued as a result of this solicitation shall incorporate the Department of Labor Wage Number 2015-5147,  Revision Number 19, dated June 27, 2022. Additionally, each offeror must provide the following information with the quote:The Request for Quote (RFQ) number;The Name, Address, Telephone Number, and DUNS Number of the Offeror;Include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the RFQ.
