There is a base period of 1 year plus four 12 month options periods.Details: The OHWS initiative is designed to improve quality of life and readiness by decreasing injury rates, most notably for the high rate of spine injuries incurred by fighter pilots. OHWS is designed to meet the unique physical needs of fighter jet pilots. Fitness and conditioning is accomplished through a comprehensive, coordinated, multi-disciplinary physical training program focused on the movement and strengthening of the spinal musculoskeletal system.
